NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd. and Robinson Department Store, Lopburi branch, see the growth of urbanization that reaches the area where our manufacturing facility and the shopping mall are located. Phaholyothin Road, which is currently the main road to Lopburi downtown, is being used by various people including our Company’s employee buses. As same as Robinson store, that has a number of people come every day. These facts are leading to high number of vehicles in the area, which affecting safety of employees and other people when crossing the road.

Therefore the Company constructed a pedestrian overpass with the aim to provide safety and reduce losses from road accidents.

With regard to our intention, the overpass construction project is held. The total budget of the project is 3,686,497 Baht, which Minebea distributed 2,686,497 Baht to support the project, while around 1,000,000 Baht was distributed by Robinson. The pedestrian overpass construction was started in April and completed in August 2018, as a total number of 162 days to finish the project. Minebea and Robinson have held a ceremony of overpass distribution to Lopburi Highway District 1 on the previous October 10, 2018, by having Mr. Masayuki Imanaka, President of NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd and General Manager of Regional Affairs for South East Asia, as the representative of Minebea, and Mr. Stefano Pizzuti, Head of Property& Business Development, as a representative from Robinson. In this event, we have Mr.Supakit Phopapapan, Lopburi Provincial governor joined as Chairperson of the ceremony.
