NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd. and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) sign an MOU to develop vocational talent, creating over 200 technician jobs.

On August 17, 2026, NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd.—led by Mr. Passakol Watjanasoontorn, Group Executive Officer, Director and Manager of Human Resources and Administration—signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic cooperation and staff development with OVEC. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ratreesawat Thananan (Advisor on Industrial Vocational Education Standards), Ms. Benjawan Pokpong (Director of the Bureau of Cooperation), and executives from 8 technical colleges across Thailand.
This partnership aims to boost the vocational skills of students to match the needs of the advanced manufacturing sector. The company currently employs over 30,000 workers across 6 factories, with 20% (over 6,000 people) coming from vocational backgrounds.
To expand these opportunities, the company is accepting student interns and hiring more than 200 new technicians in the second half of this year.
