On December 14, 2022. MinebeaMitsumi Group (Thailand) held the 40th Anniversary to celebrate a significant milestone of its operation in Thailand and to express the sincere gratitude to all support and assistances we received all along the journey.

Around 10.00 am, Mr.Supattanapong Punmeechaow Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy honored to preside over the opening ceremony of NMB Advance Technology Building on the occasion of 40th Anniversary of MinebeaMitsumi Group (Thailand) at Bang Pa-In factory where Mr.Kazuya Nashida Ambassador of Japan given a congratulatory speech.

With the evening reception around 19.00 pm, Mr.Wissanu Krea-Ngam Deputy Prime Minister honored to preside over the ceremony at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok with honorable guests from various sectors of Thai Government including customer and executives of the group where they also attended the opening ceremony in the morning.

On this occasion, Mr.Yoshihisa Kainuma President of MinebeaMitsumi Group given a speech about the background and operations of the group where MinebeaMitsumi Group has founded in Japan in 1951 before expanding its operation and production base into Thailand in 1982. All along the 40 years, with the continuous investment and expansion, Thailand became the largest production base of the group with accumulated investment around 108 Billion Baht, total 9 factories located in Ayutthaya, Lopburi, Pathumthani, Chonburi and Rayong with 38,000 persons working in so far. The accumulated employment since 1982 until now is more than 253,000 persons with net sales at 87 billion baht.

Amid all the crises that occurred all along the journey, the group of companies was able to get through various crises, operate smoothly with growth until present because of the support and assistance from every sector including the great cooperation from our employees which is the main things that earn the company’s trust and confidence and led to the continuously expansion and investments with accumulated investment around 5.2 billion baht in 2021 combined with the additional investment around 3 billion baht to settle the brand new building named NMB Advanced Technology including machines in order to expand our capacity in bearing production which is commenced the business on last November with the official opening ceremony on 14th December 2022

With the occasion of our 40th Anniversary, to express our responsibility to local communities, the company has donated 4 Emergency Ambulance to 3 hospitals to support the Public Health operations including the reforestation activity that took place in the area around 500 Rai in National Forest, Lopburi to be a part to relief the global warming, these planted trees are able to absorb the carbon-dioxide around 8,600 tons carbon within 10 years which is comply to the company’s management philosophy “Eco-Friendly” under the Environmental Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) through all of the company business, with our determination to create the eco-friendly product by QCDESS concept (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Eco/ Efficiency, Service, Speed)

We operated our business to be in line with the direction of world development where we always deemed as a guideline of our policy. Apart from this, we also looking to create the carbon-free society to achieve the sustainable development goals along with the man-management methods to take care our employees. We believe that “People” are the essential and valuable resources which is the important reason of our policy making, to maintain their happiness and well-being to let them work with pleasure in order to produce the better, faster, cheaper products with smarter procedure and be the company where the employees are proud to work with.
