In 2017, MinebeaMitsumi Group (Thailand) has held several social responsibility activities, which the main activity was at Huay Yang Nueng reservoir, Amphoe Phattana Nikhom, Lopburi. Huay Yang Nueng reservoir was established in 1979 as one of Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paraminthra Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama 9) ideas, and it was left in dilapidated condition.

Regarding the above information, the top management with employees from all 6 plants of MinebeaMitsumi Group (Thailand) held “MinebeaMitsumi Together We Preserve Huay Yang Nueng Forest” project with an aim to develop and improve Huay Yang Nueng reservoir to provide irrigation to the resident in Lopburi province and nearby community. The activity was also being held in remembrance the boundless and gracious kindness of Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paraminthra Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama 9). Furthermore, the activity aimed to raise environmental awareness among employee and to recognize the importance of environmental protection.

Thus, MinebeaMitsumi Together We Preserve Huay Yang Nueng Forest” was a continuous project started from April 2017, until the activities were held at Huay Yang Nueng reservoir dated November 18, 2017. The activities held during the date were;

1.Watergate improvement, and its distribution ceremony

2.Trees planting of 1.44 acres in learning center area

3.Landscape and canal improvement for 1.5 km.

4.Fresh water fish release (99,999 of Mango fish and Silver barb fish)
