On 8^th September 2022, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) in collaboration with Excellence Center of Eco-Energy (ECEE), Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University conduct the closing ceremony and seminar of Business sector promotion project to reduce GHGs emission by determining Science-Based Target (SBT) for FY 2022. At Tulip Room, Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok.

In the event, Mr. Rongphet Bunchuaidee, Deputy Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization, expressed gratitude and issued certificates of appreciation to the 7 pilot organizations. Mr. Chaiwat Chaiwannachinda, Manager of Occupational Health Safety, Environment & CSR Division is the representative of NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd. There was also a seminar to disseminate the results of the project according to guidance for setting Science-based Targets to reduce GHGs emissions in the business sector, including implementation plan that consistent with the goal to limit the rise in average global temperatures to no more than 1.5 or 2 °C

NMB-Minebea Thai ‘s participation in this project is the preparation of the organization in setting Science-based Targets to reduce GHGs emissions. This is one of the ways that contribute towards the organization to achieve the goal of Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero GHGs in the future.
