NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd. has realized the importance of business management continuity in order to enable the business to grow continually and efficiently under uncertain situations such as natural disasters, pandemics, and any conflicts that could occur, etc. To prepare for an effective response, and protect the interests of interested parties, reputation, brand, and critical activities from potential threats, therefore, the company has determined policy to provide guidance on implementing an effective, sustainable, and stable management system of business continuity as the following directions;
1. Protect health and safety of employees including every interested party
2. Protect business of the company when facing a crisis or threat with the capability to continue the company’s activities, and response efficiently to risks
3. Build awareness and collaboration within the organization, and support everyone to be involved in business continuity to maintain services and reliability of the company
4. Support, develop, and keep the business continuity management system up-to-date, including provide necessary review or change for the complete and effective implementation plan
In 2016, NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd. has obtained a Business Continuity Management System certification (ISO22301:2012) for the first time with TUV NORD Thailand Ltd. as a certification body. The significant forces were the top management’s commitment to the sustainability and continuity of our business, and all employees’ involvement that drive us towards this achievement. This is a great start for the implementation that aims to apply continuity and effectiveness into our business. NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd. is striving for a continual system improvement in order to maintain customer satisfactions and the business capability of the company.
